Opening Ceremony events
Monday, July 7th, 2008
One
representative from each
team will be permitted
to attend this meeting.
All teams will be
required to have a
representative in
attendance. The official
schedule for when teams
play will be distributed
at that time.
An Opening Ceremony
event will take place at
the Coastal Carolina
University baseball
stadium on Monday, July
7th, at 4:00 p.m.
This will include a
parade of teams and a
chance for teams to
trade pins. Players
should be in uniform for
this event.
**Waccamaw Athletic
Fields will be available
for use as practice
fields.**
Note:
Pin Trading has become a tradition at USSSA World Series events, players will have an opportunity
to trade pins at the
tournament field
locations. Team pins are not mandatory but certainly adds to the fun of this special event. We encourage each team to bring some small item to trade. We suggest that you contact your local Chamber of Commerce, Visitors Bureaus or other community businesses in your area about obtaining items to trade.
No food or drinks are allowed to be brought in park. Water & Cups will be provided
in each dugout. Only small ice chest with rags and Team coolers (1) per dugout allowed.
Admission
Admission during the tournament will be $7.00 per person per day or $25.00 for a tournament pass
(ONLY
available in preorders). For children (6-12) the charge will be $5.00 or $20.00 for a tournament pass. This charge includes everyone except players and team coaches. A maximum of 3 player/coach passes will be
issued.
