representative from each
team will be permitted
to attend this meeting.
All teams will be
required to have a
representative in
attendance. The official
schedule for when teams
play will be distributed
at that time.
Required at this meeting
will be the Official
Roster for your team.
All pre-ordered souvenir
items will be available
for pick-up at the
Charlotte Knight's
stadium during the
coaches meetings or at
the Opening Ceremony
event.

OPENING CEREMONIES AND
PARADE OF TEAMS

July 14th, 2008
The park will open at
4:30 p.m. with the
parade of teams
beginning at 5:30. All teams will participate and should be in full uniform.
We
encourage all teams to
bring a banner for
the parade.
There will be an
all-you-can-eat buffet
provided at the Knight's
Stadium immediately
following the parade of
teams. The buffet
will be available from
6:00 p.m. until 8:30
p.m. Tickets
may be ordered in
advance.

During Opening
Ceremonies, we will have
lots of fun games and
inflatable activities
for the players and
their families to
participate in. We
will have a Dunk Tank,
Slip 'N Slide, Wet 'N
Wild Wave Slide,
Gladiator Joust,
Gyroscope, and a Rock
Climbing Wall!
You won't want to miss

Note:
Pin Trading has become a tradition at USSSA World Series events, players will have an opportunity to trade pins during the skills competition and social prior to the opening ceremony. Team pins are not mandatory but certainly add to the fun of this special event. We encourage each team to bring some small item to trade. We suggest that you contact your local Chamber of Commerce, Visitors Bureaus or other community businesses in your area about obtaining items to trade.
No food or drinks are allowed to be brought in park. Water & Cups will be provided
in each dugout. Only small ice chest with rags and Team coolers (1) per dugout allowed.
Admission
Admission during the tournament will be $7.00 per person per day or $25.00 for a tournament pass
(ONLY
available in preorders). For children (6-12) the charge will be $5.00 or $20.00 for a tournament pass. This charge includes everyone except players and team coaches. A maximum of 3 player/coach passes will be
issued.
