Congratulations on an outstanding season and welcome to the 2007 Wood Bat National Invitational.
It will be the goal of Crystal Carolina Sports to create an experience that the players, coaches and families will remember for the rest of their lives.
 The 2007 Wood Bat National Invitational will be played in Gastonia and Charlotte, North Carolina on September 1st - 4th, 2007. 
Experience the thrill of playing in a Major Wood Bat event!

We will use the "Pool-Play" format in the Wood Bat National Invitational. Teams will be placed in pools where they will play a round robin within their pool. Teams will then be placed in a Championship bracket following pool play or a Consolation bracket. The exact format of the tournament, e.g., number of pools, number of teams in each pool, etc., will be set by the Tournament Director following Baseball guidelines.

This tournament will carry a 2007 World Series berth because it is being played in the 2007 Season and will be played as an NIT. Minus 3 will be used for High School age. Minus 7 will be used for other age groups. All players can use their own wood bats. Any brand of wood bat can be used. 
We will provide bats if your team does not have any!  Minus 3 will be used for High School age & Minus 7 Bats will be provided by Crystal Carolina Sports for teams to use if they need bats.
